Age is a small river for one day descent, however you can make a 2-day journey here as well. Age starts at Age lake near Ledurga village and has its full lenght of 41km.

The standard one-day route (15km) starts at the bridge on the Vidrizi - Ledurga road and ends in Zvejniekciems.

The river has two distinctive sections. The upper one - with the major obstales in a form of fallen trees and beaver dams, and the lower stretch, below the Mandaga watermill dam - the rocky river bed.
